Under a multi-year agreement, GE Aerospace will continue supplying T408 engines for the Marine Corps’ CH-53K fleet, reinforcing the program’s long-term sustainment. Built in partnership with MTU Aero Engines, the powerplant delivers major performance gains over older designs, supporting extended-range and high-payload missions. The contract reflects steady progress in fielding the King Stallion as the Marine Corps’ primary heavy-lift helicopter for expeditionary logistics and force projection.
