Lockheed Martin and Hungary’s 4iG Space and Defence Technologies are examining options to integrate US rocket artillery systems onto Hungarian military trucks. Central to the effort is Lockheed’s launcher loader module, which is compatible with HIMARS and M270A2 launchers and can fire ATACMS, PrSM, or GMLRS missiles. The collaboration follows US approval of Hungary’s HIMARS acquisition and is expected to enhance Budapest’s NATO-aligned long-range firepower while opening doors for industrial cooperation.
