Integris Composites and QinetiQ US will work together to improve the survivability of the US Army’s Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA). The defense manufacturers will create armor systems, with Integris using its expertise to provide military armor to enhance the future medium-lift tilt-rotor aircraft’s durability, speed, range, and payload capacity. Meanwhile, QinetiQ is anticipated to offer the systems engineering and integration expertise for the materials technology employed in the advanced rotorcraft’s floor and wing.
