India has clarified that it is not evaluating South Korea’s KF-21 Boramae fighter jet as part of its program to acquire 114 new multi-role aircraft, dispelling recent media reports suggesting otherwise. The Indian Air Force confirmed no assessment of the KF-21 is in progress, and the jet hasn’t been offered for consideration. India’s acquisition plan remains centered on established platforms and strengthening its homegrown fighter initiatives, reflecting the country’s earlier message to the US that it also isn’t interested in the F-35.
