India’s Solar Group has tested a kinetic counter-drone swarm system designed for the Indian Army. During the trial, the Bhargavastra micro-missile system neutralized virtual targets at a height of 400 meters (1,312 feet) and a distance of more than 2.5 kilometers (1.55 miles). The affordable solution has been created by Economic Explosive Ltd., a subsidiary of Solar Group. It includes mini-missiles with a range of 6 kilometers (3.72 miles), as well as advanced radar, command and control systems, and seekers.
