In accordance with a 14-helicopter agreement made last year, Airbus has provided Iraq with two H225M Caracal medium-lift helicopters. The helicopters are set to be transferred to the Iraqi Air Force later this month after being delivered to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense in Baghdad. The first pair of airplanes is scheduled to go into service in June. Between June and October, the following six units are expected to arrive, and the last group is anticipated to arrive by the beginning of 2026.
