The Lithuanian Armed Forces received Spike LR2 anti-tank missiles from Rafael under a €6M contract. The missiles integrate with Vilkas Boxer IFVs equipped with Samson Mk II remote weapon stations. Weighing 13 kg and 1.2 m long, the LR2 can strike up to 5.5 km from ground or 10 km from air platforms. Featuring AI target tracking and a tandem HEAT warhead, the system is optimized for urban and armored engagements. The delivery follows live-fire tests in May involving OCCAR and ARTEC GmbH.
