Stavatti Aerospace has unveiled the SM-39 Razor, a proposed aircraft concept positioned as an alternative option for the US Navy’s Next Carrier Air Dominance program, which seeks to replace the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet in the 2030s. The design features a low-observable triple-fuselage configuration intended to reduce wave drag during sustained supersonic flight. The company claims the aircraft could reach Mach 4 and supercruise above Mach 2.5. Offered in manned and unmanned variants, the SM-39 integrates advanced avionics, internal weapons bays, and a twin-engine propulsion system, with projected fleet deliveries between 2031 and 2037.
