Defense equipment supplier Med‑Eng has received contracts valued at $86.4 million to deliver blast-mitigation seating systems for Eagle V armored vehicles built by General Dynamics European Land Systems. The seats are engineered to reduce the vertical shock and impact forces generated by mine blasts or roadside bombs. They will be installed in command-and-control and protected ambulance versions of the Eagle V platform. The contracts will support vehicle production programs scheduled to run from 2026 through the early 2030s.
