The development of Russia’s new NV.17 hybrid helicopter has progressed to the technical design phase, having successfully completed its preliminary and draft design stages. This medium-class helicopter, developed by Heliburo, is intended for diverse roles such as cargo transport, passenger carriage, and fire support. Russia anticipates the helicopter’s inaugural flight to occur in 2027.
