Saab has entered into a framework agreement with Sabena technics, a French company specializing in aircraft maintenance and modification, to support modification work on Saab’s GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft.
This long-term agreement aims to establish a foundation for ongoing collaboration between the two firms, encompassing complex aircraft modifications and related services for the GlobalEye platform.
GlobalEye is Saab’s cutting-edge multi-domain AEW&C system based on Bombardier’s Global 6000/6500 business jets. Converting these aircraft into GlobalEye platforms entails intricate and technically demanding modifications that require highly skilled and dedicated teams.
