Hanwha Systems has introduced a new active protection system designed to shield armored vehicles from incoming threats. Presented at the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, the system is engineered to intercept rocket-propelled grenades, anti-tank guided missiles, high-explosive anti-tank rounds, and kinetic energy penetrators before impact. The APS represents Seoul’s latest effort to enhance survivability for next-generation armored platforms amid evolving battlefield threats.
