Spain has received a modified A400M fitted with Indra’s InShield DIRCM, marking a step toward enhanced aircraft survivability. Following structural integration and testing, the system will undergo operational evaluation to determine broader adoption across Spain’s fleet. The modular DIRCM is designed to counter multiple missile threats simultaneously and strengthen national air defense autonomy.
