Southeast Asia’s air arm is expanding its rotary-wing fleet with the addition of two multi-role helicopters. These aircraft will strengthen national capabilities in medical evacuation and search and rescue, complementing an existing fleet that has been in use for several years. Maintenance and completion work will be handled locally through an established industrial partner. The helicopters, already in widespread global service, are valued for their endurance in demanding missions, from combat search and rescue to troop deployment.
