As part of a US foreign military sale in 2019, the Slovak Air Force acquired two more F-16 Viper fighter jets. These are the nation’s fourth and fifth F-16s, and they are anticipated to be joined by additional ones in the future to fulfill Bratislava’s order of 14 aircraft. In collaboration with the Bulgarian military’s first Viper aircraft, industry partner Lockheed Martin delivered the systems via a two-phase flight across the Atlantic.
