The air and space force has received two H225M Caracal helicopters from France’s defense procurement agency. The aircraft are the first two of eight H225M Caracals that Airbus Helicopters ordered in April 2021. The newer helicopters have better operational capabilities than earlier versions. Upgrades include a modernized cockpit, enhanced detection capabilities with advanced optronic cameras, and a more accurate GPS navigation system.
