South Korea and the UAE have conducted joint evaluations of the KF-21 Boramae fighter at Sacheon Air Base, expanding their defense cooperation. The flight comes after an April 2025 accord for comprehensive aerospace collaboration. The KF-21 program has logged 1,300 test sorties and plans initial deliveries between 2026–2027, replacing South Korea’s F-4 and F-5 fleets. The UAE’s hands-on involvement points to strong interest in acquisition, as Abu Dhabi modernizes its air force with next-generation multirole fighters.
