Uruguay has begun renewing its tactical aviation fleet with the arrival of two A-29 Super Tucanos, marking the first step in a broader modernization plan. The turboprop aircraft, known for low operating costs and multi-mission flexibility, will strengthen border patrol and ISR operations. The move places Uruguay among six South American operators of the platform.
