Lebanon is set to receive M1085A2 and M1078A2 medium tactical vehicles under a potential $90.5-million US foreign military sale. The acquisition includes spare parts, training, manuals, and logistical assistance. The Oshkosh-built trucks offer high mobility, payload capacity, and adaptability for frontline and logistics operations. DSCA stated the deal will improve Lebanon’s security posture, counter-terror capabilities, and joint training with US forces. It comes amid broader American support programs that have strengthened the LAF for nearly two decades.
