AM General has secured a $126.5M contract to deliver more M1165A1B3 Humvees to the U.S. Army. This expands a previous deal, now totaling $3 billion. While the exact number of vehicles wasn’t disclosed, these will add to the Army’s 120,000-strong Humvee inventory. Work will occur in Indiana through August 2027. The Army Contracting Command in Detroit is overseeing the deal. Separately, Israel is receiving $150M worth of Humvees under another AM General contract to reinforce its ground forces amid conflict in Gaza.
