The US has approved a $404 million Foreign Military Sale to upgrade Australia’s MC-55A Peregrine ISR and electronic warfare aircraft. The package includes spare parts, modifications, and technical assistance to sustain operational readiness. This upgrade supports Australia’s role as a key intelligence and reconnaissance partner for US Pacific operations, extending the aircraft’s service life and effectiveness. Prime contractor L3Harris will oversee the upgrades without requiring offset agreements.
