Canada has received US approval for a $160 million purchase of up to 60 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs) and nine trailers. This order includes communications systems, mobility enhancements, and survivability upgrades. The acquisition supports Canada’s modernization goals, boosts interoperability with NATO allies, and strengthens its ability to operate in varied conditions. AM General will be the prime contractor.
