According to a framework agreement, the Latvian Ministry of Defense has placed an order with Saab for an air defense system. Saab will provide its short-range, ground-based RBS 70 NG system, which is worth 2.1 billion Swedish kronor (about $209 million), along with firing units, trainer units, and missiles. The delivery dates are set for between 2026 and 2030.
