French manufacturer EOS Technologie has delivered its first batch of Rodeur 330 unmanned aerial systems to Ukraine, reinforcing Kyiv’s air defense and strike capabilities amid ongoing conflict with Russia. The delivery marks the initial transfer of interceptor drones under a broader French-Ukrainian industrial cooperation effort aimed at countering large-scale drone attacks. According to the company, the Rodeur 330 can conduct intelligence missions or perform kamikaze strikes, acting as a protective “shield” for Ukrainian forces. The system has demonstrated effectiveness in first-person-view operations and autonomous engagements. Weighing 25 kilograms with a 500-kilometer range and up to five hours of endurance, the drone is designed for rapid assembly, simple training, and low-cost mass deployment, supporting Ukraine’s need for scalable counter-drone solutions.
