Terra Drone Corporation has secured a contract from Japan’s Acquisition, Technology & Logistics Agency to manufacture 300 domestically produced modular UAVs intended for military training. The 115.4-million-yen ($735,000) agreement requires delivery completion by September 2026 and represents one of the company’s first major defense-sector contracts since formally entering the market earlier this year. The award reflects Japan’s growing investment in unmanned systems, with Tokyo allocating nearly 277.3 billion yen toward drone-related defense capabilities in the current fiscal year.
