Teledyne Gavia has delivered the first four GAVIA autonomous underwater vehicles to Sweden’s Defence Materiel Administration under a multi-year framework agreement supporting the Swedish Armed Forces’ undersea modernization. Delivered ahead of schedule and within budget, the modular AUVs can be rapidly reconfigured for missions such as mine countermeasures and intelligence collection. Supported by an in-country sustainment model developed with FLIR Sweden, the GAVIA platform enhances Sweden’s autonomous maritime capabilities in challenging environments like the Baltic Sea.
