The Hellenic Navy has acquired ship-based Camcopter S-100 unmanned air systems from Schiebel for deployment aboard its French-built FDI frigates. Integration will begin with HS Kimon (F601), with additional units planned for HS Nearchos and Formion. The vertical takeoff and landing drone supports maritime surveillance, search and rescue, and anti-submarine warfare. Equipped with advanced electro-optical and maritime sensors, the S-100 can operate autonomously with a range of up to 200 kilometers.
