During the multinational Exercise Cobra Gold in Thailand, QinetiQ Target Systems Canada delivered Hammerhead unmanned surface vehicles to simulate maritime threats. Naval units from several allied countries worked together to counter these targets using both aerial and surface platforms. The Hammerhead systems replicated different attack patterns, including fast assault craft and coordinated swarm attacks, enabling participants to train against increasingly common unmanned maritime threats.
