India’s defense startup Svaayatt Systems Pvt Ltd has developed the SGV-500 Scorpion, a weaponized unmanned ground vehicle designed for combat and support missions. The platform is set for live demonstration before the Indian Armed Forces, showcasing capabilities such as remote-controlled firepower, terrain mobility, and real-time target engagement. Equipped with machine guns and grenade launchers, the UGV can operate in hostile environments while reducing risks to personnel. Its modular design allows multiple roles, including surveillance, logistics, and casualty evacuation, reflecting the growing importance of unmanned systems in modern warfare.
