Germany’s ARX Robotics has won an order to supply GEREON uncrewed ground vehicles to the British Army for operational trials and force integration. The medium-sized robotic platform can function manually or autonomously and is intended for logistics, surveillance, and casualty evacuation roles. GEREON can carry up to 500 kilograms, travel 40 kilometers, and operate for up to 72 hours depending on mission demands. It also features thermal and night-vision cameras and modular payload architecture. The procurement supports broader British modernization efforts focused on robotic and autonomous land systems. Trials will assess how such vehicles fit within existing force structures.
