EDGE and Baykar have signed an agreement to integrate Al Tariq precision-guided munitions onto the Bayraktar Akinci combat drone. The cooperation will allow EDGE’s modular smart weapons to be adapted for the Akinci platform across various operational profiles, including day and night missions. The deal also includes a commercial framework enabling both companies to market each other’s systems, highlighting the growing trend of cross-border collaboration in unmanned combat aviation and precision strike technologies.
