Lockheed Martin Skunk Works and Divergent have successfully transformed a digital drone design into a full-scale flying prototype in less than a year, demonstrating a new approach to rapid defense manufacturing. The platform, known as Replicator, measures approximately 2.7 meters in length and was produced using Divergent’s Adaptive Production System (DAPS). The advanced manufacturing environment integrates engineering design, structural analysis, production, and quality assurance into a unified digital workflow. This approach significantly reduces development timelines while enabling faster prototyping and deployment of next-generation unmanned systems.
