At the Japan International Aerospace event in Tokyo, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries presented two AI-enabled collaborative combat aircraft concepts. The first was a 1:10-scale tactical support drone for land-based missions, including offensive operations and safe return. The second, the “ARMDC-20X,” is a 6-meter-long drone dedicated to intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance roles.
