South Korea has debuted the Ghost Commander II, a futuristic naval platform created to unify manned aircraft and unmanned systems under a single command interface.
The design, a product of Hanwha Ocean, aims to lead future naval capabilities by integrating airborne, surface, and sub-sea drones with piloted operations.
Its structure draws comparisons to China’s Type 076 assault ship, according to lead engineer Jeon Seoungbaem, and is optimized for long-range maritime reconnaissance tasks.
