German defense firm ARX Robotics has launched its Combat Gereon UGV, engineered for “first unmanned contact” missions where robots enter hazardous zones before soldiers. Derived from the Gereon RCS platform, the combat version integrates AI and the Mithra OS, enabling fleet networking, seamless updates, and mission adaptability.
