The Ukrainian military has upgraded its Protector unmanned ground vehicle by integrating the Tavriia-12.7 remote turret system. This addition turns the UGV from a logistics asset into a combat-ready platform. The turret mounts a 12.7mm Browning M2 heavy machine gun supported by a digital fire-control system that can target ground and airborne threats, including armored vehicles, drones, and helicopters. The upgrade boosts the vehicle’s lethality and expands its role on the battlefield.
