India has deployed the upgraded SapperScout Ver 2.0, a homegrown unmanned ground vehicle engineered for missions too dangerous for soldiers. Weighing around 380 kilograms, it integrates ultrasonic detectors, advanced sensors, and AI-enabled navigation to move intelligently across complex terrain. Capable of autonomous path following and obstacle avoidance, the UGV is tailored for frontline operations that demand high survivability, allowing troops to stay protected while maintaining situational awareness.
