During the Tamber Shield exercise in Norway, Royal Navy Wildcat helicopter crews trained alongside Puma drones to improve coordination against high-speed maritime threats. The unmanned systems provided reconnaissance and targeting support while electronic warfare teams simulated missile attacks to challenge aircrew responses. Patrol vessels acting as hostile fast-attack craft further intensified the exercise environment. The drills demonstrated how manned and unmanned platforms can work together to improve situational awareness and survivability during complex littoral operations.
