Hanwha Aerospace has teamed up with Estonia’s Frankenburg Technologies to co-develop counter-UAS systems for next-generation land platforms. Signed at World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, the deal assigns Hanwha responsibility for system integration while Frankenburg develops guided missiles, launchers, and fire-control software. The capability is being considered for Hanwha’s future command-and-armored vehicle. The agreement strengthens growing South Korea–Estonia defense ties, which already include Chunmoo rocket systems and K9 howitzers.
