SMARTSHOOTER has received a contract worth 5.8 million Israeli shekels ($1.9 million) from the Israel Ministry of Defense to supply its SMASH Hopper remote-controlled weapon stations. Deliveries are scheduled to begin by the end of 2026, with options for additional spare parts and support services that could increase the total contract value to 7.4 million shekels ($2.5 million). The SMASH Hopper is a lightweight, remotely operated weapon system designed for deployment on fixed positions, light vehicles, and unmanned platforms. Equipped with advanced fire-control technology, the system can engage ground targets at ranges of up to 800 meters and aerial threats at 600 meters. Its ability to integrate with existing command-and-control networks makes it suitable for border security, urban combat, and critical infrastructure protection missions.
