US defense firm Anduril has completed the delivery of Altius 600M loitering munitions to Taiwan, fulfilling a foreign military sale approved in 2024. The package included 291 systems along with associated equipment, with deliveries carried out between August 2025 and early 2026. The Altius 600M is a lightweight loitering munition capable of carrying modular payloads for strike, surveillance, or electronic warfare missions. With an operational range of around 440 kilometers and endurance of up to four hours, the system enhances Taiwan’s ability to conduct precision strikes and intelligence operations. This delivery forms part of broader US support to Taiwan, which also includes tanks, rocket systems, and coastal defense missiles. The move reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen Taiwan’s deterrence posture amid rising regional tensions.
