The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center has awarded Raytheon a $197-million contract to deliver MS-110 multispectral reconnaissance systems for the Polish Air Force. The agreement covers the production, aircraft integration, and engineering support of seven MS-110 reconnaissance pods, with work scheduled to conclude by August 2031. Once fielded, Poland will become the first NATO member to operate the MS-110 capability. The system builds on Raytheon’s DB-110 architecture, capturing imagery across multiple visual and infrared bands while using AI-enabled processing to defeat camouflage and decoys in near real time. Designed for long-range standoff surveillance, the pod can be carried by a wide range of aircraft, including F-16s, Gripens, transport aircraft, and MQ-9 drones, easing integration into existing operational concepts.
