Tobyhanna Army Depot is advancing a major infrastructure modernization effort aimed at expanding its radar testing and calibration capabilities to meet increasing military demand. The first phase of the project, valued at $68 million, will extend the existing ridge-top radar campus, enlarge facilities, and add additional radomes and test pads. Construction is expected to begin next year following the completion of design work. A second phase will introduce an off-site calibration tower to improve testing accuracy for advanced radar and electronic warfare systems. Once completed, the project will nearly double available testing capacity and support both legacy and next-generation military radar platforms.
