Finland and Sweden have signed a €15-million ($17.5-million) agreement with Finnish firm KNL to procure Cognitive Networked High Frequency (CNHF) Manpack radios. Deliveries will conclude by year-end. The system scans over 4,000 channels per second and self-adjusts to ensure stable links even without GPS. With built-in encryption and multimedia capability, it creates secure networks spanning thousands of kilometers. Designed for ease of use, the CNHF requires minimal training and integrates into existing command-and-control systems, offering resilient communications in satellite-denied conditions.
