L3Harris Technologies has received US National Security Agency certification for upgraded Rover ISR radio terminals, enabling approved allied forces to operate securely on NSA-encrypted US networks. The clearance applies to the Rover 6Sc transreceiver and Tactical Network Rover 2c handheld terminal and allows up to 50 US-authorized coalition partners to procure the systems via Foreign Military Sales. This marks a major shift from earlier export-only Rover variants, which lacked compatibility with high-assurance US communications. The Rover family supports air, land, and maritime missions, delivering real-time ISR data, live video, and targeting information while maintaining resilient connectivity through interference and contested environments.
