Rune Technologies has been selected to participate in Anduril’s $99.6 million Next-Generation Command and Control (NGC2) prototype program for the US Army, currently undergoing evaluation with the 4th Infantry Division. The initiative seeks to enhance how commanders gather, distribute, and act on battlefield information. Rune will integrate its TyrOS platform, designed for tactical logistics planning in contested environments. TyrOS manages fragmented communications by identifying short connectivity windows, prioritizing essential data, and transmitting information across mesh networks using minimal bandwidth. The system also leverages edge computing and cloud processing when available. Over the six-month prototype phase, TyrOS will be refined for potential division-level deployment.
