Echodyne has been selected to supply EchoShield radar systems for Trust Automation’s SUADS counter-UAS program under a US Air Force framework valued at up to $490 million. The radar will equip transportable, expeditionary, and base-defense variants of the platform. EchoShield uses advanced tracking and machine learning to improve drone identification and response speed. It can detect small unmanned aircraft at distances ranging from 1.5 to 7.9 kilometers depending on size and type.
