HENSOLDT has completed installation of the first TRL-4D LR air surveillance radar for the German Air Force at Brockzetel. Developed using active electronically scanned array technology, the system is intended to enhance long-range airspace monitoring as Germany upgrades its national radar network under the HADR NF initiative. The interim installation will operate until permanent radar infrastructure becomes available later in the decade.
