Poland has taken delivery of its first ARSUS 100 reconnaissance and surveillance systems from Turkish defense company Aselsan. Integrated on AMZ KUTNO-built vehicles, the ARSUS 100 provides high-resolution imaging, 24-hour all-weather operation, and long-range target tracking for border security and reconnaissance missions. The system includes advanced communications and cybersecurity features that ensure NATO interoperability. Deliveries will continue through 2027 under an ongoing contract between Aselsan and Polish industry partners. The deployment aligns with Poland’s strategy to enhance situational awareness and intelligence-gathering as part of its broader military modernization program. Warsaw has significantly increased defense spending, securing new contracts for armored vehicles, missile defense systems, and surveillance equipment. Recent procurements include K2 Black Panther tanks and K9 self-propelled howitzers from South Korea, alongside F-35A fighter jets, AH-64E Apache helicopters, and Patriot PAC-3 missile systems from the U.S. The acquisition of ARSUS 100 systems further enhances the country’s command, control, communications, and reconnaissance capabilities, improving battlefield transparency and cross-alliance coordination.
