Spanish shipbuilder Navantia has presented a long-term cooperation proposal to support Denmark’s future naval modernization efforts, coinciding with a visit by the Spanish Navy frigate F105 to Copenhagen during NATO’s Steadfast Dart 26 exercise. The company outlined plans to begin potential deliveries from 2030 under a partnership model emphasizing local industrial participation, training, and life-cycle support. The F105 Álvaro de Bazán-class frigate served as a demonstration of advanced NATO air defense capabilities. Navantia highlighted its experience in international programs involving technology transfer and industrial collaboration, positioning itself as a strategic partner as Denmark continues investing in naval strike and coastal defense capabilities.
